Delmora® in Central London. Part II
In November 2023, we were ecstatic when The British Library—BIPC selected Delmora®, a Bromley ambassador small business, to be featured on a poster in several locations around Southeast London. We published a blog with the photos, locations, and story behind the poster.
Last December, we received a communication from BIPC saying that Delmora® had done it again. It was selected to be featured on several posters around London to promote the Kickstart Your Business program led by the British Library. These posters will be published in January and February 2025 (locations will be updated as soon as the posters are live).
It is an honour to have been selected for this campaign. 2024 was challenging; inflation and the economic situation impacted not just Delmora® but thousands of other small businesses in the UK. These days, many are not thriving but surviving in tumultuous waters and having to re-invent strategies constantly. Reducing costs seems to be a policy that never ends; with this, important aspects such as PR and training are affected by budgets. Training is one of the most critical aspects, and this is where support from local libraries comes into the picture to train and help business owners to network.
Small businesses' resilience has been admirable throughout all these challenges. Their ace up their sleeve includes finding creative ways to differentiate themselves from the big boys, being flexible enough to adapt quickly, and building community.
Today, Delmora® thanks the British Library—BIPC for its support. We hope more small businesses enrol in the Kickstart Your Business program and benefit from it. Our invitation is to visit your local library and the BIPC to get more information.
